Every year in April there takes place one of the most beautiful and of the most difficult boating marathons in Europe.

If you wish to see wild and virgin nature and spend an active day canoeing, this marathon is for you. Võhandu Marathon is an excellent opportunity for a canoeing experience in Estonia. The route is interesting and the distance, full extreme moments of different difficulty levels, has to be completed in one day. It is a big challenge for every boater. Currently the distance of marathon have is completed by 2,236 people from 12 countries.

Sailing ship rentals

Sailing team offers for groups of up to 12 people trips along Lake Võrtsjärv. Trip must be reserved in advance. Experienced captain and boatswain will tell you about naval construction, sailing and trawling. You will be able to go to the most beautiful places of Lake Võrtsjärv. The day will seem much more beautiful after tasting fisherman’s food on the sailing ship (eel soup or smoked breams) or if travelling in second half of summer in Tondisaare resting area. Available guide services. It is possible to see the surroundings not only by sailing, but also by hiking and staying at guest houses, you can also set up the tent.
